Song of the Week | Casting Crowns 'Your Love Is Extravagant'

I remember last year, the youth group at church fronted an evening service. It was about extravagant love. There was a part of the service that always sticks with me where, one of the leaders spoke about God's extravagant love for each and every one of us. He demonstrated it by pouring a can of coke into a glass. It filled the glass about 3/4s full. He then opened another can and continued pouring until the glass was full to the brim. This is how much we are loved by people around us, and this is how much you may think God loves you. But actually, he continued pouring so that the glass overflowed and there was a waterfall of coke, God loves you more than that, he has extravagant love for you. I was in charge of sound that service and suggested playing this song. It really does hammer home just how extravagant God's love is for you, me, and each and every person on this planet.
