I was talking to someone yesterday about this site. They said how much they enjoyed it, how much they appreciated the work I put into it and that it must be a labour of love.
This got me thinking about that phrase and how it appears in the Bible, I found these:
We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers; Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father.
- Thessalonians 1:2, 1:3
For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
- Hebrews 6:10
Yes it is a labour of love, such is life, such is our journey and our work for the Lord, however if I can bring others to Christ through this site, if I can create and maintain a whereabouts for people to come to explore faith and love of God, then the labour is worth it, and my love is with God. I will never have all the answers, I don't claim to know everything but if I can give advice and researched opinions through creativity and words, then my purpose is being served.
